Walt Peabody letter knife

Found this at a flea market this morning. Walt Peabody was/is an advertising group started in 1946. They are now The Peabody Group. This piece is German, probably late 40's to late 50's. ? Pre-Zip Codes. Very nicely made. J.O'.
