All About Pocket Knives

Alyson had a CT scan on Monday April 1st. She got a call from the oncologist's physician's assistant yesterday. The PA would not say anything about the findings except what the doctor had written in his notes.
The findings were, one of the lesions on her liver had shrunk a little bit, but the other lesion had grown. Also they found three lesions in her lungs that were not there before.
The doctor said that obviously the medication she's on is not working. He gave her the choice of going on the first chemotherapy meds, actually two meds, that she had originally started on. They seem to be effective but the side effects are significantly more than the medication she is just been on. We will meet with the doctor next week and perhaps we will know more then.

Alyson and I had decided, before we ever got the results, that we would praise God no matter what the results were. Though the results are not what we wanted to hear, God is still in control, He is sovereign and nothing can change that. We will continue to praise and worship Him regardless of the outcome.

I'm sorry the news was not more positive Dale but you're right God is in control and He has a plan for everything and everybody.

Dale, both you and Alyson are still on my prayer list and will be until God's plan for all this is shown. It sure can get discouraging when His plan doesn't appear to follow ours, but ours would be what His is if we knew all He knows about us and how His perfect plan plays out. God only has our best interests in mind. I admire your faith and pray it will remain strong, and still pray for health and healing for Alyson._____Dave

I praise Him along with you, no matter His will, but until I know His will in this I will continue to pray for complete remission and healing!
