All About Pocket Knives

I want to put a good word in for Rose Craft Blades.
Their customer service is outstanding.
I purchased a Barlow from them. It's a great knife for a great price.
I had a slight problem with it, I sent them an email, they sent me a new knife without any questions.
And I got to keep the original.

I became acquainted with RoseCraft Blades in the fall of last year. I purchased two knives from a dealer. Immediately one went back for a refund because it had problems. I received a refund and I really like the one piece I kept. But since then I keep getting email offers from select dealers and from RoseCraft. They seem to be always selling seconds or rejects. I get the impression that a lot of poor quality items come out of a manufacturing batch. RoseCraft tries to sell everything but based on what I see as a lot of seconds I'm hesitant to purchase some of their new issues again. Any comments?

The two I have are perfect for and finish, but I bought them at Blade Show Texas direct from them and they were Qc’d by them at the register when I bought them. I know the member Corn Creek Cutlery on here is a distributor and I’m sure he would check them for you before shipping. He has a AAPK store. When I buy a new Case knife, I purchase in store so I can handle them first and quite a few are a bit subpar, but at a $50-70 price point I don’t expect $175 quality in a knife I plan to use.

I have purchased 3 of the from Rosecraft, all excellent knives. They did send an advertisement for 2nds but I didn't partake.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I'll contact Corn Creek Cutlery when I'm ready to purchase another one. The good ones are fantastic but when they're bad, they're bad!
