Hi all.
I have been after a stiletto for a while for my collection & managed to get this one recently but i cannot identify the origin of the knife & initially i thought may be a knock off but not so sure now that i have had a good chance to look & test its operation out.
Hopefully the photos will complete identity.
Thanks to all in advance.

Your knife is Japanese. The folding guards are missing.
That model is a neat knife and it's well made.

Hi Bill , thanks for that , really good to know. Do you have any idea what decade this would have been produced.

Hello Bill. Would his knife be a pre-Rizzuto?

It's not really a good name for them, but yes.

Are these lockback Japanese autos better quality than the standard button open-button close Rizzutos, Bill?

Much better quality. Good enough that, for years we thought they were Italian.
