picked this one up. both blades stamped in straight lines - VALLEY FORGE over CUTLERY CO. over NEWARK, N.J.
double swedge, long pull on main blade. handles some type of wood, almost black(ebony?). 3 3/4" closed. i think it's pre boker as there is no vf in circle on rear tang. valley forge operated from 1892? - 1899/1902 when boker assumed ownership. half stops on both blades, walks and talks like a gator. brass liners/pins. ns bolsters and pinned shield.
