Marbles Fixed Blade ID please

I have been trying to find this knife all afternoon and can’t seem to figure what era it may be from could someone please help me?
It has a 3 3/4” blade and measures 8” overall
MARBLES
GLADSTONE
MICH. U.S.A.
is the tang stamp

I've never seen a Marble's pommel squared off like that, what's the size of the pommel nut? Thanks.

Like John says, somebody modified the pommel, it dd not come from the factory like that. The sheath appears to be a lot newer than the knife. Did you measure the blade from tip to guard? The knife appears to be a model called "Ideal" but Marbles didn't make the Ideal as small as 3&3/4 inches, 4&1/4 inches was the shortest one they made.

Ok from the tip of the blade to the guard is 4 1/4”exactly overall length is 8 1/8” exactly the nut measures 3/8” there seems to be around 16 leather washers and maybe 4 of the black plastic spacers? Thanks for your help !
