All About Pocket Knives

TbarK, Mike Fisher, passed away unexpectedly. Mike and I have been friends since the mid 80s. I got him started in the knife making and repair business. I fell out of gear and he went on to be an amazing craftsman. His sweet wife, Kathy, sent me a Case copperlock auto conversion that he made and never offered for sale. He fixed a lot of stuff for me over the years. He was a good Christian man and dear friend.

Robert "Bob" Cutting, who some of you may remember a "Iron Hoarder" also passed recently at his home in England. He and I traded a lot of stuff over the years. He was a good man.

That is vary sad news.

Although I never met him in person, I bought a few of his knives (will post some pics later) and found him to be a very kind and likeable gentleman, generous with his time and always willing to answer my questions and talk knives.

He will be missed.

I sure hate to hear this sad news. Both were valued members of the AAPK community. Tank did some amazing work and Robert always had something interesting to add to the conversation.

Always sad to hear when longstanding members of AAPK who contributed so much over the years are lost to us. May they rest in peace.
