I would like to feature another small 3 Inch... 4-bladed Congress knife... stamped on all blades front (Graef & Schmidt) back (Germany)
This knife handles look's to be made of tortoise shell... the liners are milled...this knife is in near mint condition...never sharpened
I don't really know the age of the knife but I believe it was made early possibly 100 plus years...
I would like to know more about the knife maybe see some others!!
Goins' Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings...page 112...Gives a great history of this knife company
They were instrumental in promoting other knife companies for instance J.A. Henckels a major knife company!!
There are other Schmidt knife companies... Example... Schmidt & Ziegler.. not sure if any connection
Any and all information welcome!!
