Never just believe ebay sellers descriptions! Seller is nuts, these were post Vietnam, and as you said, cheap.

I wonder if the seller used AI ( artificial intelligence) to write the description? Looking at
his other items for sale the same "language" was used.

That description is so typical of AI generated descriptions. Ebay hasn’t learned yet that those descriptions are deceptive. They all say that this is a great item for the user or collector, great craftsmanship, blah, blah, blah. I’ve started stating on my knife descriptions on eBay that “we do NOT use AI for knife descriptions. I hope more of the serious sellers will start stating that as well on their knife descriptions.

This one on Flea-Bay is a real bargain at $145 plus what? about $8.99 shipping... Sounds like a sweet hart deal to me!!!

I think the one I bought back in the day was $5 to $8 bucks... Less than the shipping today...
