All About Pocket Knives

I would appreciate it if someone would elaborate on the term 'new grind' please I have seen it used a few times. If possible a photo of new grind v regular(?) grind to illustrate the differerence would be very educational. Thanks s-k

Go to top right click on other then on more then glossary of terms then cursor down to new grind. Click on picture.

This should show you the difference pretty good, new grind blades were used if not mistaken for about 1 1/2 yrs. 1983/1984 suppose to made blades stonger at the tang,due to expense it was dropped. If you look at the tangs you will see how the grind curves back toward top of blade on "New Grind" like in bottom photo. Regular Grind goes straight across bottom to top of blade.
