One and three quarters Frankenstein RIZZUTO

My friend gifted me this set of Rizzuto parts with the INTENT I might be bold enough to create a Frankenstein Rizz. (That’s a composite to the lay person). I doubt this will be as part friendly as a AR15 but we shall see. If you don’t see another pic,I may have failed. I don’t think I’ll peen to much on this handle.

I have a switchblade coming that really needs help. The lock pin is broke off the blade. I think I’m going to weld it and then file the pin back in place. I hope. I’ll show pics at end of the week.

Well done JW.
On the subject of working on switchblades and cursing-
I remember making switchblades years ago, sitting in my shop for hours trying to work the bugs out of a knife, trying to get it all dialed in, having to take it apart, adjust something, re-assemble, test, aaaaaannnnd...nope. Over and over and over.....
Finally, after several hours (and a fair amount of profanity), I'd get it right. Then completely drained and exasperated I'd emerge from my shop, and after listening to my tirades my girlfriend would say "I thought hobbies were supposed to be relaxing?". She had a sense of humor that one.
I have always had a love/hate relationship with making switchblades. It can be incredibly exhilarating, but it can also be incredibly frustrating. They can be tricky, temperamental creatures. Sometimes they just don't want to work right. And the problem can be any of a dozen different things.
Making switchblades is a passion for me, but from what I've learned, passion always involves a certain amount of madness.

Boy you sure got that right! If your not “Mad” when you start,you will be when your finished. A chess game with a knife.
