I think this is a switchblade

I picked this up with another lot of knives I bought recently. I'm not even sure if this is appropriately called a switchblade. It has some markings on both sides of the blade and pommel. Swan? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Reminds me of those Mexican knives with the square bolsters.

Stamp looks like a duck to me. Neck is too short to be a swan. ::shrug::

According to Bill DeShivs the Duck/Swan/Flash leverlocks were made in Japan. Often sold in Mexico.

Thanks Killgar. That is more than I knew about the knife.

Here is an update on the lot this knife came in. This was the same lot the 13" Omega came to me in. The Browning is USA stamped. Few others less worthy too.

IIRC I paid $200 for the lot.
