Update on Alyson's Condition - 11/10/ 23

The doctors have reduced Alyson's chemotherapy dosage to 50% of the first dosage he gave her. The first dosage was so strong it made her blood levels go down so low it was unsafe too give her further treatments. After a couple of months of adjusting the dosage and her being off of chemo for about 5 weeks, they have adjusted the dosage down to 50% of the original. This seems to work better for her.
She was able to receive chemo on October 10th and 17th and then they skipped a week as is the normal protocol. She received chemo on October 31st and again on November 7th. Her blood levels were barely good enough to have chemo on the 7th but she was able to receive it. Next week is a skip week and she should feel a little better then. Currently she is very tired from the chemo. After about a week from the last chemo chemo she should feel a bit better.
Her last CT scan showed that the tumor on her liver was essentially unchanged from the previous CT scan. This is the first time the tumor has not shown growth. We are praying that the next CT scan will show shrinkage in the tumor or even no tumor, if God performs a miracle!
Praise God for His faithfulness and answers to prayer!
It's been a while since I have written an update, but there hasn't been a lot of news or change as far as her condition goes. We definitely appreciate your prayers and ask that you continue to keep her in your prayers!
God bless you all!
