Just bought this knife lastnight and don't know anything about it .any information would be a blessing...thank you

- Cherokee with Indian head

Just a guess but I'm going to say that handle is not original to that knife.

Interesting blade grind on that one. One side looks like a flat grind, the other side is a double sided dagger grind. Looks like a thumb divot on the flat grind ricasso.
Can you attach close up, in focus pics of the markings?

The term Solingen Steel makes me wonder about it. Usually I see Solingen Germany , the term German steel or Soligen steel seems to mean it was made somewhere else. I’m no expert but see a lot of the Parker/frost stuff using those terms.

Cool piece, not made in Solingen....the handle is a DIY job.....most likely a foreign made blade, like Pakistan or India...makes a nice user!!
