November 2023 Forum Members Giveaway

This month we have an extremely generous donation from third-time donor cbnutt (James Dickenson) who first donated in June 2013 and then again in June 2020 during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. James has really stepped up this time and decided to donate not one but two knives from his personal collection, both carried and used but in good shape!
First up is a Case #63032 Stockman in chestnut bone which is one of the most popular colors in Case history. This knife features a nickel silver Case oval script shield, clip, sheepfoot, and pen Chrome Vanadium (CV) steel blades, is 3-5/8" closed, and weighs just 2.5 oz.
The second knife is a Case XX Sodbuster Jr #25131 in mahogany bone with an Oval Brass XX Inlay shield. This knife utilizes a 2-7/8" Skinner blade. Stamped with pattern number 6137 CS, the blade material is carbon steel with a mirror-polished finish.

Instructions for entering the giveaway...
Simply click here and select a number between 0 and 999.
You will have until November 30th (6:00 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number, after which entries will not be considered. The Illinois State Lottery evening pick-three drawing will determine the winner on November 30th.
The individual closest to the selected number without going over will win. The Illinois lottery results can be found on the following website:

To be eligible to win, you must be 18 years of age and either (a) have made at least 100 total forum posts at the time of entering the monthly giveaway or (b) have previously donated successfully to at least one prior monthly knife giveaway.
Please ensure that your Board Preferences Miscellaneous Notifications are set to notify you via email when someone sends you a Private Message (PM) to ensure the time requirements below are met.
The first-place winner will be sent an AAPK PM after the drawing and will have three days to respond with contact and shipping information. If the first-place winner does not respond within three days, the knife will be offered to the next player on the list without going over.
The next-place winner will be sent an AAPK PM, and they will have one day to respond with contact and shipping information. If the next-place winner does not respond within one day, the knife will be offered in the same manner to the next player on the list without going over.

James thank you for your very generous donation. Both of those are great knives most anyone would be proud to get their mitts on. I especially like the bone on that sodbuster.

Reverand's pick of 435 was 42 less than the winning lottery drawn last night but Scott was the closest without going over, congratulations!
I guess the good karma from being the March 2023 giveaway donor is starting to be revealed. I know the Case 63032 stockman in chestnut bone and Case Sodbuster Jr . in mahogany bone are going to a good knife home. A PM has been sent to claim the prize. Congratulations!

I arrived home late from work tonight, but had a wonderful surprise waiting for me!
James, your generosity in gifting these two knives has just blown me away - they are so beautiful!
I cannot stop coon-fingering these, the Sodbuster especially. I have an old Case Sodbuster (I used it to open the package!). I had gotten it used and knew that the blade was worn, but I had no idea how worn out my old one was until I compared it to this beauty!
I am about to post this again in the Mail Call thread.
