All About Pocket Knives

Picked this up a few months ago in a knife lot I purchased. I think it’s a Presidential dagger but I’ve recently noticed the engraving is slightly different than past presidential daggers I’ve had. The past sets I’ve had have always been a set of two. Has anyone seen this style before?

I would conclude that your MkII is a knife from a "President's Collection" set due to the four digit serial number. The engraving is indeed different from any other example I recall. I have two of the engraved sets and although the engraving on my knives does vary slightly, neither of my knives resembles the engraving pattern on your knife.

I hadn't seen your knife prior to you showing it just now, Red, but after seeing it I went online and found 1 other with a tang stamp reading 0508. It also was titled "Presidential Collection" dagger.
I like it a lot, it's so much more classy than the regular model, and having no serration makes it even sweeter.

Thank you for the responses. I have two complete presidential sets so I will likely sell this one but I want to make sure I was listing it correctly. The engraving is far different than the others but as you said the serial numbers match the style
