Hey what’s up blade fam?! So just out of curiosity, who has an actual Model 1917 Mark 1 Trench Knife from World War I? Or who has seen authentic ones being sold, and how much do they generally run? I can’t imagine they’re cheap, since so few were made and especially after HBO’s Boardwalk Empire character Jimmy Darmody had one, I’m sure they’re highly sought after. aha

Mark Alosio also has an excellent reference book, so you can avoid reproductions and scammers. Happy hunting!

Awesome, thank you so much guys!! Anyone have any pics of their own WWI knives they’d like to share as well?! My maternal grandfather was a WWI vet, and he passed when I was about 3. Rumor has it, that he had one of the model 1917 or 1918’s and my devout Catholic grandmother donated it with a bunch of his stuff to her local Catholic Church when she had to downsize after his passing. Thanks Nonna, I still love ya though.😂
