Civivi and Kershaw

As a relatively new knife collector I have spent the last couple of years gathering up a hoard of older American made knives such as Colonial, Schrade, Imperial and various other traditional pocket knives. Nothing very special compared to many collections I've seen here but I like them. I generally have avoided buying Chinese made knives except for a few cheap user knives. I recently became interested in finding a medium size assisted opening knife to clip in my right front pocket. I did not want to spend too much but wanted something I could use everyday and not be ashamed to pull out in front of other fellas. I ended up buying a small Kershaw from BladeHQ for $20.00 and a Civivi Elementum off Amazon for too much money. The point of my post is that I am shocked at how much I like these little knives.The cheap Kershaw feels just so good in hand and I love the blade shape. The Civivi has a Damascus blade and Micarta handles and is too nice to carry in my opinion. Hence my purchase of a second Elementum with a plain Nitro V blade and G-10 for carry. I am really impressed with the quality of the Civivi knives, razor sharp and very smooth operation.
