Praise for the life of a premie

My nephew and his wife just had their first child this past Thursday, a baby boy named Jeremiah.
Jeremiah was not due until December. When the Mom-to-be went into labor on Monday, she was transferred to UAB Hospital (one of the best neo-natal care units in the US) where they worked for two days to stop her contractions.
Unable to, they decided to perform a C-Section about 1:00 am on Thursday.
Mom and baby are both doing great. Little Jeremiah even spent one day breathing on his own without oxygen!
The new Dad has had to go back to work, while new Mom is staying at the Ronald McDonald house to be near their son.
I did not think to ask y'all to pray when they first went into the hospital, but I certainly ask you to join me in thanking our Lord for blessing this young family!

Absolutely Reverand and a big welcome to Jeremiah.
Father I lift Jeremiah and his family up to you this morning in thankfulness and praise. May Jeremiah have a healthy and long life and may he serve you with love and obedience to Your Word. Amen.

Great news! God bless the family as they enjoy the blessing of God's grace to them.
Praying little Jeremiah will soon be strong enough to be at home.

PSALMS 145:8-9
"The Lord is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9 The Lord is good to all,
and his compassion is over all that he has made.
May the Lord's Grace, compassion and love be on Jeremiah all of his life!
Amen

May God bless the little feller, his Mom and His Dad. May he soon breathe on his own and live a long and healthy life.

Little Jeremiah has had a couple of minor setbacks these last few days. Antibiotics and a blood transfusions have seemed to help, and he is at 2lbs and 2 oz right now.
Thank you for your prayers, and please lift him up whenever you think to.

I'll gladly support him with my prayers.
God, please bless this dear child. Please give him strength to overcome the challenges he faces. Please give his parents hope, encouragement, and strength to endure this stressful time. Thank you, Lord, for bringing them this far and please, Lord, continue to bless them in the days ahead.

Update:
Jeremiah is still doing well. He now weighs over 3 lbs! He is finally able to wear little outfits, and they keep reducing his oxygen.
He has a small hole in his heart and some spots on his brain, but so far the doctors say these are normal for one so premature, and they expect it to all heal normally.
Thank you for your prayers, but most of all thank our Lord for his mercy and blessings!
