celluloid scaled knives

I know some where on these 50 somethin pg.s there is some thing on this subject . but with dial up i'm tired of lookin. does celluloid EVER stop gassin out after so many years or does it continue for eternity. i know i've seen some very old ones that look very good. info and or pg.number on this subject if someone knows.
..but it is loaded with opinions and information about Celluloid.
