All About Pocket Knives

I picked up a early boker USA pocket knife and I’m not sure what the handles are made of looks to be bone or some kind of horn. Any help would be great

Looks to be celluloid.

Celluloid was my thought, too. If so, hope it's fairly stable.

Celluloid is my opinion also. I’ve never seen bone or horn having a pattern like that. However it is easy enough to determine if its bone - bone has tiny pores (Haversian canals - look it up) that are visible with magnification. Celluloid does not have them.
