Franken Streamline?

My feeling is that this knife is a total cobb-job. It's pretty nicely put together though, so whoever did it had some skills.

Unless someone can tell me it's legit(not likely), do you recognize any of the other parts? The handles/bolster shape is pretty unique.

Thoughts???

Do you think this knife may have been a moose pattern at one time? Most all Camillus knives with Streamline blades have synthetic handles. Beautiful frame at any rate.

Glenn those looks like old Winchester 2969/2967 hafts. The early original models (not the later remakes) had those identical double rat tail bolsters. This is a Wards contract knife done by Winchester:

Glen this is an old Henckels knife I have. Kaleb seems to think it is pre-WWII. Compare the handle material, shield, and bolsters on it to the OP knife. BTW we need to see more pictures of your work. That is one of the main reasons I check in on AAAPK. Thank you for all you have shared with us.

Thank you for the kind comments. My "work" productivity comes and goes. Unfortunately, as a hobby, it takes a back seat to family and regular work.

I'm certainly not in the shop as much as I'd like to be!
