All About Pocket Knives

Just wondering a date range on these two knife. I know it’s after the 40s. Just trying to get in the right decade. Got them off eBay.

Mike: Click on the "TANG STAMP CHARTS" post above and type ULSTER in the search bar. You'll find some dates. The stamps were used for many years so getting a close date is not likely, especially for the one you have. Good luck. J.O'.

I doubt that Ulster used bone on their handles much past the '60's, My guess would be the '50's or before.

Ulster didn't start using those two digit pattern numbers until after Albert Baer took the company over in 1941. It didn't happen right away either as the war was underway at the time so it most likely dates from the 50's for sure and possibly late 40's through the fifties. Nice example!

Yes, should be a 3 1/4" two blade serpentine jack.
