Well done, and very well displayed.
I could see a knife affectionado perusing and coon-fingering his way through those displays for many a pleasurable hour!

I have a heap filter running near my office/shop and it makes a big difference… keeps the dust down
All the displays are within an arms reach or so from my desk… so I wipe the knives down frequently as I fiddle with them

So in recent weeks I have been trying to get better control over my collection. Mostly this means displaying fewer of my knives. Those that are displayed in the open air require more frequent maintenance. I decided that the better part of my collection will be stored under glass; better meaning in terms of quality and quantity. For now I also am using briefcase-style storage. I still have considerable work remaining on cleaning and choosing which knives will be exposed on the open air shelving.
The following photos will at least give some idea of the direction I am headed. Also,I am trying to display a few of my fixed blades.

Yep… no affinity to other countries.. their flags or knives
I’m sure they are just fine… just not made in ‘Merica

I’ve figured out the display aspect is also a fun part of the hobby

Your displays are fabulous, Garry, congratulations, they look great!
I much prefer to display my knives open-air, but the dust accumulation just got to be too much work over and over, so I now display them in clear plastic containers. I can't see them as well as I'd like, but my dusting time has been drastically reduced.
I'm constantly thinking about upgrading my displays, and I'm sure I will eventually come up with something I'm satisfied with.
It appears you are a big bowie fan like me, the examples you showed look like solid well made knives!
I love seeing your knives!

Thank you Marco. Glad you enjoyed the look. When I get other shelves organized I'll share those as well.

Great displays, Gary! Like you, I just can’t put all my knives on display at one time. Wish I had a room dedicated to them, but that ain’t gonna happen in my lifetime!

I do, however, put out a couple of dozen or so at a time. Actually, that’s not a bad thing. It’s kinda fun deciding what the next group of knives should be for display and then switching them around. Otherwise, if not on display, I have the rest in jewelry chests (thin drawers that are perfect for knives) that allow me to store the maximum number of knives in a minimum of space.
