All About Pocket Knives

Had this one for a few years--it's a fairly cheaply made knife, made in China or Pakistan. Got it in a lot if I recall correctly. However, I took it out of the case for my larger folders, and decided to put it out with some of my model horses.

I rode horses for a few months, English for some stupid reason by my own choice. Due to a lot of stuff beyond my control (and that of my grandparents), I had to quit riding. After I turned 18 and finally shed myself of court-ordered conditions involving visitation and my mother, I thought I'd get another horse, but eventually put it on the back burner mostly due to cost concerns. I could get a horse cheaply (free in many cases), but it's the feed, farrier, and vet bills that was what made up the difference. I did start buying model horses again, something I really hadn't done since I quit riding.

My instructor had shown horses when she was younger and had even been on a collegiate team in Florida. She had a big Tennesee Walking Horse she had shown with for many years.

I just so happen to have a Breyer Stablemates model (which is the Tennesee Walking Horse mold) in a similar pose to the horse printed on the scale.

Produced between 2006-2008, so from the era when I originally started collecting Breyers.

Maybe not an expensive knife, Cody, but it’s a good looking knife!

Cody, I think that's a great display with the knife, model horse, cars and other things you've got set up there! Thanks for sharing. I rode horses for a few years when I was a lot younger. The horses, and farm belonged to a woman I was dating. In the end things didn't work out, but I remember those days quite fondly.
