All About Pocket Knives

Went to an antique shop I've never visited before yesterday. Saw a friend who had her own shop at one time & when she introduced me to the owner, mentioned I collected knives. The owner reached under the counter & produced a paper bag full of knives. She offered to sell them to me for five bucks! Needless to say Ibought them after checking them out. A bunch of Pakistani & Chinese but a few that may be able to repair. here is a pic of the bag's contents; more to follow.

A couple of those look pretty good, well worth your money!

There certainly appears to be a few good one's in there, K7K.
Definitely worth the fiver you paid, in fact, you could likely make 10X that much with a quick "B.I.N."/"As-is"/"Lot for sale" ebay listing. Just a thought.

Reworked a lot of the knives since getting them. One( the High Carbon Steel utility) was too far gone, so I disassembled it; saving the backsprings & one good bone handle. The rest are: Compass Industries ; Utica jumbo jack; Electric swell center; Ulster electrician's; Catt whittler; Robeson serpentine pen; Valley Forge sleeveboard pen; Sabre hawkbill; Colnial pen; Berkeley funny folder.

Even if it doesn't get any better, K7K, at least you gain the 10 knives in your pics for $5.00!

I like that Saber Hawkbill, one sits in my EDC box...

Finished this one last night. It was originally missing the mark side handle & I replaced it with a piece of clear Plexiglas & was going to leave it like that.
I then decided to jig it using my Foredom die grinder & a small ball mill. After that I painted it black using mv lettering enamel with a bit of talcum powder mixed in to dull the gloss. Here is a before & after shot.
