Schrade 858 with Stabilized Snakewood Handles

Snakewood is without a doubt one of the hardest materials that I’ve worked with. I had to use ceramic belts to get these handles shaped and fitted. The finished result is nice though!

Wow, Jeff, you're turning out some real beauties! Those old big Schrades are a real handful.
