Stopping SLK Newsletter and Closing Down the SLK Website

I've decided to stop delivering the SLK monthly newsletter.
The cost and time involved to create that and distribute it have become a losing proposition.
In the not to distant future I'll be closing down the SLK website as well. I can no longer afford to sell knives at a break even price or at a loss.
Thanks to all of you that have supported me in the last few years.
I'll continue to make custom knives and modify and upgrade older knives but I'll no longer offer them for sale. My kids can sell them on E-Bay once I'm gone.
Thanks!
Jeff

Sorry to read this, Jeff. You're a talented mechanic, so don't stop producing the knife work you are doing! You are an inspiration to myself and others, as well.

Dang buddy, now I feel bad for not paying you more for the ones I bought.
Seriously, you’ve done some great mechanic-ing there, and produced some first class work, which I prize highly out of what I’ve accumulated.
Best of luck to you, and please stay active on AAPK if you can.
Parker

Jeff I didn't see it mentioned so I hope you're not giving up on AAPK.
No sir, I’ll still be posting here.
I’ve made lots of friends here and have many good customers from AAPK as well.
The website profits were always on the slim side but I started finding the administrative duties associated with the newsletter and website taking up too much of my time. I’m still on the fence as to whether I should close down the website, change my web host, move my website or just continue on.
I’m heading up north for a few days to do some fishing, probably consume a few cold brews and solve all of the worlds problems with my brother and brother in law.
I’ll take a fresh look at things when I get back.
Thanks!
Jeff

You, My Friend, are a craftsman...and I am thoroughly blessed to have several of your designs and creations in my collection. Thank you Jeff for your personal dealings and offerings over the years. I appreciate it very much. I'm going to miss seeing your creations.
