All About Pocket Knives

Has anyone had any exposure to a knife like this or is anyone familiar with this stamp?

This is a handmade knife and it is well thought out and very well made, in my opinion.

It belongs to a friend of mine and I forgot to measure it.
It is about 8 inches long and maybe a 4" blade.
Possible patch knife. A good all around user.
Some kind of bone handle.

Looks more like something that's been cobbled together than a quality custom.

I think that's a fair assessment, David.
I wouldn't call it a quality custom but whoever made it used nickel silver at the ferrule and it is very strong at that transition.
The owner thinks it is quite old. I'm not sure. The stamp seems modernish to me.
Bone was removed at the ferrule so that when the ferrule was formed it sits level with the bone. No elevation. Nice work.
