This month’s store-owner-donated monthly knife giveaway features a very kind donation from the AAPK Store JamieinWV and storeowner Jamie Fallen who has decided to promote his largely USA-made store inventory with a pair of Cooper Battle Axe knives!

These beautiful and unique folding knives are made by Cooper Cutlery LLC in Winchester, Ohio. Battle Axe Brand was first made for A.R. Justice of Philadelphia, PA from 1877 - 1937. It was later revived about 1975-1990 by J.W. Hickey, Tommy Shouse & George Smith, who later became a partner in Blue Grass Cutlery. These knives were first made in Germany, then later made in America. These Battle Axe Stamps and Dies were at the Queen Factory when purchased by Cooper Cutlery.

Both knives were manufactured using the same dies and production was limited to 100 pieces each. Good luck!

Instructions for entering the giveaway...
Simply click here and select a number between 0 and 999.

You will have until June 14th (6:00 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number, after which entries will not be considered. The Illinois State Lottery evening pick-three drawing will determine the winner on June 14th. The individual closest to the selected number without going over will win. The Illinois lottery results can be found on the following website:

To be eligible to win, you must (a) be 18 years of age and (b) have made at least 100 total forum posts at the time of entering the monthly giveaway.

Please ensure that your Board Preferences Miscellaneous Notifications are set to notify you via email when someone sends you a Private Message (PM) to ensure the best opportunity for the time requirements below to be met.

The first-place winner will be sent an AAPK PM after the drawing and will have three days to respond with contact and shipping information. If the first-place winner does not respond within three days, the knife will be offered to the next player on the list without going over.

The next-place winner will be sent an AAPK PM, and they will have one day to respond with contact and shipping information. If the next-place winner does not respond within one day, the knife will be offered in the same manner to the next player on the list without going over.

Beautiful knives! I admit that I was unaware of this brand of knife or its history....this is why I like AAPK! I still try to read old posts to learn what I can...

Oh WOW. I'm in like Flynn. I have a Mini-Trapper in stag that ~Q~ gave me (what a generous fellow he is) and it's a fantastic knife. Thanks a ton for the opportunity Jamie. I would love to have it's brother with the "battle ax" shield.
