Some fun old Colonials and Jackmasters

Been a while since I've been posting, thought I had better bring something new to the table (OLD-new of course).

The colonials just came in this week, I'm liking them in their NOS condition.
The Sport-Pal pic-nic set and it's kool old display.
An old Barlow on its card from 1972.
and a newerish Fish Knife - Plastic handles but has a bail so yes please, I'll take it.

The Colonial Barlow helps me pretend for now that I completed my search for the remaining Barlow in the Imperial Jackmaster collection, that Imperial Barlow is really elusive in the matching carded set (three 1977 with one 1981 and one 82). So the Colonial is a win-win, awesome by itself, and fits with the others. The Jackmaster set also has a "Super5" knife shown on the back of the 1981 card, another I've never seen on the card, but looks suspiciously like the Super Kamp-King.

Still on the hunt !
Enjoy ,

come to think of it, that Imperial Workmate took it's time being found too. Haven't seen too many of this set come up recently.

And here's the Super5, not so much like the Super Kamp King after all, has the phillips and different sheild...ok.
Oh, and dang, the 1981 fish knife has a different sheild than the 77... now there's more !? ::doh::

You should post the Colonial items in the Colonial forum also. ::shrug::

You probably have one of these. It has four patent stamps on it. The "church key" is a real relic of the past, indispensable back then, and an ingenious piece of metal work with that little half-twist. J.O'.

Ya know, not a bit temped ::tu::
I've got a few of these loose to fiddle with, else i might be... but nope, won't be me cracking them open for the 1st time.
Oh darn, now I went and said it... ugh. ::dang::

I went back and forth on the Sport Pal too and then a deal popped up, still a pricey little set but Ima sucker for vintage graphics.
(and the knife is perfect, splits apart beutifully , shiny and clean)

but back to the cards, yea, pretty kool and vintagy - thank you!

I had a Colonial standing in for a while but the Imperial Barlow finally came up recently , wasn't sure I would be finding that one but it let me complete the set, so here they are !

Thanks all, it's been fun finding each piece. My wife wanted vacations but I assured her these were better.
