Italian Stiletto Folder won’t close completely

Still new here and trying to navigate to correct forum. Just acquired a stiletto style folding knife. Marked ITALY. Blade won’t close completely. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The lockbar looks bent ? Will it open all the way ?

Will to close all the way? Post some pictures of it opened all the way and closed.

Often, people stuck paper, wood, etc. in the blade well to make the tip stick up-so they could catch it on their pants to open it.

I was able to bend the lockbar and now she closes completely. Paid $20. Did I pay too much?
