Handle and a sheath

Had this roll into the shop. 6 inch blade which was made by a blacksmith. He decided he would like a handle on it instead of just steel. So I added a brass bolster and maple handle. Then of course it needed a sheath.
Thought I'd share

Nice leather work! I am not to the point of doing all the nice tooling on the leather that you have done. Someday maybe I will give it a try but I am usually more focused on the knife than the sheath when I'm making something.

Dale I think that's pretty common of knife makers the sheaths are just secondary. Not a judgement just an observation. As far as stamping work it's not hard to do and you can pick it up easily and do it pretty quick imo.
Best and Thanks
