All About Pocket Knives

I found this knife in a box lot I purchased at an estate auction. I do not know what to make of it. My research indicates that the Kabar 1100 and the McGrew Hillbilly are basically the same knife. This particular knife boasts both names. It appears to have little to no use and appears to be unaltered. There is no evidence that it is changed. Does anyone know anything about it?

I would guess that the McGrew knives were made on contract by Kabar and this knife was somehow released with the incorrect Kabar shield.

I believe these KA-BARs were made by Camillus, who also made McGrew knives at the time. I guess that either it was an accident, or simply a bunch of old warehoused parts that were either slapped together either close to when Camillus closed its doors, or a knife made afterward with parts that were sold at the auction.

I have a Remington that does not exist in any catalogs, and is said to be an end-of-days knife.

Can you show a picture of the inside of the knife? The outside sure looks like it has been apart.
