All About Pocket Knives

Ran across a nice fixed blade Mexican knife I know nothing of Mexican knives and can find nothing just wondering if anybody knew anything about this.

Looks like a German knife made for the Mexican market, can't see much detail in your photo. Germans made a bunch of knives like this in the 1950s-60s.

The Aztec calendar on the blade is very cool.

I am really liking this one, very cool with the dark stag and blackened blade. Add a long british/euro style can opener and corkscrew and an aztec calendar, and WHAAAT...thats a keeper. Any tang stamps you can zoom in on ?

Thanks guys for all the comments little bit of information it's going to be a tough one to find anything on it but that's okay I really like it. If I can figure out how to get a second picture on here I'll get the other side.

Definitely has all the aesthetics of German craftsmanship. Reminiscent of old school Othello, Puma, Gutmann, etc. I have seen a lot of Edge Brand Solingen knives from the 60s with a very similar look and design. What's the blade length/overall length?

Blade is 6/1/8 oal 10

Termite, I came across this one on Ebay which has the same length and also has the corkscrew/can opener in the handle, and the Aztec calendar stamping. https://www.ebay.com/itm/165985064268?m ... media=COPY

Appears to be made by D. Zissu. I don't know anything about that maker but doing a quick search online, it looks like they were based out of Solingen.

Sheath style, European stag quality, blade style...I definitely would say it's made in Germany...the south American market was a big target for Germany in 1950/60's...looks like a Linder or Othello style knife!
