How to store Damascus?

I'm cataloging a knife collection for a friend of mine. He has several Case Damascus Mammoth knives. What should I be doing to the Damascus to prepare it for long term storage?
Same as CV (carbon steel). Corrosion preventative on the blades and all metal parts. Leave no fingerprints on any metal. Sackups are best for long term storage. https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... e#p1066348
