Deadwood has one.

May not be exactly what you had in mind but it's a 110 & it has an eagle on the bolster.

This is the one you seek. I didn’t know they were out of stock. Cherrywood and nickel silver.

I’m surprised they told you about the 500 and not the 110. They don't make any 500’s anymore, but they make lots of 110’s. Thought this was a permanent offering. Makes me wonder if it is a licensing issue with the BSA?
You can build him a custom 110 and have it engraved.

Buck has an active factory rep on Bladeforums. I’d ask there, in the Buck subforum.

Is an American Eagle just as cool as an official Eagle Scout inlay?
Or a BSA AND an Eagle... just thinking out loud as it might offer more options.
Obviously would be nice to find a factory eagle scout, but if not then custom inlays still make for a special knife
(and sounds like you have some design on doing that anyway)
Its great that you know exactly what you want (and for a nice cause), hope you enjoy the hunt.

ok, I got intrigued for a few minutes with inlays. Might not be anything you are interested in but it's still fun.
Looked for official Eagle Scout medallions but most are too big still.

So I googled SMALL eagle scout medallions, saw this on the fleabay, still not sure how big it is:

And for unofficial, this one looks pretty cool, and as a circle it inlays nicely too. (just shave off the fringe areas)

And just to be stupid, the most "eagley" knife that came up, at WallyWorld for $19, LoL - kidding on this one but since it was there...

Its really not fair to stop making them. Imagine a little brother earning his Eagle and looking forward to getting a knife like his older brother got a few years ago.
There are a disturbing number of those engraved 500’s on ebay. If I was an Eagle scout, and someone gave a personally engraved knife like that. I would treasure that knife.

Man you gut that right should be an heirloom Eveled

eBay ha a funny way of listing.the 110’s look hokey and there’s no 500’s

I mean they are engraved with names dates personal messages. Etc. Maybe some are stolen? But not all of them.
Who sells a knife that says love mom? I just don’t get it.
I’m only aware of them, because I’m hunting for a plain Cherrywood 500 to complete a set. The Eagle Scout ones pop up in my search.

There were several by Camillus in the past (bought my son one similar to a SAK in 1996). Here is a locking Camillus on ebay, says USA made so not sure who is packaging it for them. OH
