All About Pocket Knives

Pretty much quit buying knives as prices gone way up, and the recession. Saw a reasonable priced knife I like but never heard of CJRB. I looked it up, it’s a subsidiary of Artisan Cutlery, which I am not familiar with either. Does anyone have experience with CJRB and are they decent quality ? One I like is D2 blade and under $50. Hard to beat if it’s decent quality. Thanks

I have two, I think one is D2. Will post pictures when I get home. Yeah, the current prices of knives has hampered my purchases. Not many deals out there to be had.

It's the American distribution arm of a Chinese knife manufacturer so the quality is probably in line with similar Chinese knives at that price point.

Thanks Eric. I guessed that (but wasn’t sure) because of the low price. I found the same knife on another website. Ten dollars less and free shipping on all items without a minimum purchase . I took the chance. Not often you find a D2 blade / G10 handled knife for $35. For that price I’ll include it in my EDC rotation.

I have one. Don't recall what I paid for it and didn't document the price. Don't recall anything specific about the knife other than I liked the profile and the blade. Didn't even take my own pictures, this is the seller's picture.

I recently bought a CJRB Pyrite button lock flipper folder with G10 scales and steel they advertised as similar to D2 with a stone washed finished. The steel is called AR-RPM9 powder form stainless steel and falls between 14C28 and D2. It’s my first CJRB and I have to say I was impressed with the quality and finish. It operates smooth as butter with the slightest flick of the wrist, sliced paper easily and the slate blue handles with the stonewashed drop point blade and steel liners look awesome. It’s more like a showpiece instead of an EDC. It came in a nice box that included a zipper and lined CJRB knife case. All for just under fifty bucks. I’ll buy this brand again.

I shopped around online and found the one that I liked for less than any one else. I bought it. Never dealt with this seller before but I gave them a try. They offer FREE Shipping on all their products with no minimum amount !

Just arrived. I couldn’t pass up this one. Love the natural G10 covers and it looks like it’s made very well.
