George Schrade pruner

Quite an unusual pruner,at least to me.George Schrade Knife Co.Inc.B'P'T Conn.4 1/2" closed,barehead and the front bolsters are basically oversized rivets in the shape of bolsters.

I've never seen a rivet/bolster over the bone like that. I'm surprised the bone survived intact in that area.
The pivot pin hole through the bone must be slightly enlarged. And the bolsters? must not move?
I must admit I'm scratching my head over that one.

Very cool knife Rodger. The blade and rivet look similar to the wire jack pruner he made.

Really a neat hawkbill Roger. My understanding is they were only made a year or 2 after Boker acquired the George Schrade Company, they can be tang stamped with either companies name. I have a fish knife with a Boker tang stamp, if I remember right they date around 1956.
