Can anyone tell me if this mark is significant in some way? It is marked Frank B. Italy on the other side. I have other Beltrane knives but only one other has this.

Best chance for anyone to ID it would be to include a picture of it.

From your provided information Brien the knife sounds correct, and the significance is that is the builders mark to identify the knife as one of theirs, but pictures of it will definitely help confirms this. The Beltrame family had a few different stamps over the years, dependent on which family members were working together, and your stamp is definitely one of them. Please post some pictures, and ::welcome:: to AAPK! ::handshake:: 8)
