Just picked up
A real beauty, never sharpened, great snap, overall one of the nicest I have found, just needs a blade buff.

Wow that's a real beauty! Geez don't go ruining it by buffing the blade, you'll obliterates all the original grind lines and round off all those nice edges. That blade was never originally buffed so why make it something that it wasn't?

That is gorgeous! I too like the natural patina of an old knife, especially one that appears to have been so well taken care if. That is a definite keeper!!!

That's a beauty for sure!! The patent date is not the manufacture date, knife likely marked same way well into the 1920s.

Gene, I think it was unchanged all the way to the end of the corporate Schrade CutCo until they sold out in 1946. Also, the OP should understand that it is a Schrade Cutlery Company knife, not a Schrade Walden knife, although both companies were in the same buildings but different ownership. The jigging pattern on the bone suggests late 1930s through to 1946, rather than earlier.

Thanks Cal, I have had a couple of those, didn't know the same Pat date was used throughout it's run.

Yeah don't know how to get on the Knife commerce here. Would be offered at a lower price private deal.

Thanks Steve
