Good morning prayer partners
Please help me pray for my wife Sharon. She is in severe pain with a pinched nerve in her back. Her pain is from her back all the way down her leg to her foot. TERRIBLE
It is killing me to watch her suffer so much pain! I am a nervous wreck.
I have been in constant prayer for the last several hours. We are supposed to have an appointment this afternoon with a Neurosurgeon. Please help me pray that God's angels will accompany us to the appointment and that there will soon be some relief from this severe pain.

I have experienced the same thing. Extremely painful. Mine was diagnosed as sciatica and was resolved by injections in my back. That was six years ago and pain free since then. A good neurosurgeon can do wonders. Hope my experience can give your wife some comfort, knowing the medical experts can fix that kind of problem.

My wife has off and on back issues, she wears a lift in one shoe and goes quarterly to the chiropractor. Didn't really bother her until about two years ago when it became excruciating.

Praying Mike. I experienced something similar last year. It’s rough. I still haven’t gotten all of the feeling back in my foot, but it’s getting better.

When she can stand it, the chiropractor and low impact exercise, like a rowing machine really helps.

Something else I was told by the chiropractor and verified by my doctor, take 3-5000mg of vitamine C a day. Yes you’ll get rid of a lot of it, but evidently it’s a very effective and natural anti inflammatory. It helped me a lot.

Thank you all, my good friends, so very much for remembering Sharon in your prayers!
She is scheduled to have an outpatient surgery this coming Thursday. All we need to do is tie a knot in the rope and hang on until then. The doc gave her some pain meds, anti-inflammatory meds and told her to try to remain comfortable until the surgery.
Please keep Sharon (and me) in your prayers.
The Lord is our Shepherd and He leads us where we need to go. Sometimes the path is difficult but He is still there with us.

Sharon has been in terrible pain for the last couple of days as we are waiting for surgery day.

NOW...

The insurance has been approved BUT....
The doctor's office is having trouble getting our Doctor approved since he is "out of network" (i.e., not an Ochsner doctor).
Oschner of Meridian DOES NOT HAVE a neurosurgeon on staff......
Our only hope was to get the doc we settled on 90 miles away in Jackson, MS. where we have family.
The other option (I guess) is to go to New Orleans where Ochsner is based and use a surgeon there.
THAT will cost us a LOT out of pocket for lodging, food, etc.

Please pray that this last hurdle can be jumped today.
We need to be there for the surgery in the morning.....
I can't stand watching my wife suffer!

Please help us Holy Father.
