All About Pocket Knives

As I continue to curate my father's collection, I am finding all kinds of curious things as I wade through the boxes. I found this last night and thought it was a toy. The trigger fires the blade. To reload the blade, you press the lock on the side and pull back the tab. I've since researched it and have seen one for sale on this site for a few hundred dollars, so not a toy! According to the seller, it is of Spanish manufacture.

I typically do not like knives that are made to look like guns - I believe that there is too much opportunity for a misunderstanding.

But that one is an exception to me. I mean, it looks much more like a gun than most "gun-shaped" knives, but it is also something that you are not likely to carry around in your pocket, either. If it is stored well and shown off to friends, then that is the ultimate knife gun, IMHO!
