A couple of two-bladed switchblades

The little knife with the "pearl" scales looks pretty old to me. Any ideas?

No clue on the top one, Chinese cheapo or possibly USA cheapo on the bottom one. 8)

The top one has one or two patent numbers on the tang. I will investigate further. It's in rough shape, but maybe is something interesting.

I just saw this Schrade knife in one of the stores on this site. Looks to be the same or very similar knife as the pearl knife I posted.

1910-ish on the Schrade Cut.co. , modern Asian on the other.

wiseguy, thanks for your input. Yes, upon closer inspection it is a Schrade. It is marked on the tang on the opposite side of the patent numbers. My bad for not looking at it before posting the question. Here's are the tang photos.

i have one like yours but mine has the black jig bone handles , from ads i seen these were made for women who had long fingernails :lol:
