Did early Queen City Queen knifes have numbers stamped on the blades ?

Thomasg, you posed an interesting question about the older Queens having numbers stamped.
I looked through a drawer of older Queens and a couple of Queen City knives and found no pattern stamps on any of them. The same with several NIB Queens, no pattern number stamped on the tang. This is not to say there are none, only none in my possession. At some point Queen began to etch the pattern number on the main blade of their knives. Lightly used or better knives usually have the etch visible.
Usually when I get an older Queen that I don't know, I identify the pattern by the closed measurement and blade configuration on a chart I have on my computer.

The knife I’m trying to gather information on is a clauss contract knife. 3 5/8ths in closed position .My thoughts are Shatt and Morgan or possibly Queen City Queen made . It would be great if you might be able to match the frame build on the knife and blade configuration to Queen City or Queen .
