I have a 210 knife collection and I'm looking for ideas on where to get a storage cabinet.

Your question is one frequently asked. There are hundreds of different methods, which can be found using the “search” capability found under Quicklinks, at the upper left of this thread. Search for “storage”.

Depending on whether you want to keep them under lock and key, or visible where they can be easily seen, all those options can be found in prior posts on the subject. Here’s a link to a recent thread on the topic

I'm using this little guy. I added cork drawer liners.

Knife storage cabinets are kind of like motorcycles. You might as well get the biggest one you can afford right off the bat because eventually you’re going to do it anyway.
I like this one:

They make bigger ones, but that one is the perfect size for me.

I keep putting shelves and display cabinets up on the wall… so I can display them all. I’m only at 100, but will run out of wall space soon in the corner of my shop/office.
I need to think of a plan B as well

I don't have any wall space at all, Jim. All I have is the top of some shelving - about eight feet wide, for display, and the top of a cabinet I bought at Harbor Freight. Everything else has to be put in drawers in cabinets/storage boxes. But here's a couple of thoughts if space is limited. Buy cabinets/storage boxes that will allow you to put as many knives as possible in the smallest space possible (drawers that are no deeper than necessary for a knife are ideal). Also, buy cabinets/storage boxes that will allow you to remove the drawers entirely. I like pulling out the drawers, laying them all out, and then I can admire, clean, handle, etc. my knives and put them back away in their cabinets/boxes very easily. I'm sure the one Froe suggested is great, but I bought this one from Harbor Freight, and I think it's ideal.

Suggestions on how to store leather sheaths so they don’t dry out and so their rivets don’t rust? Is there an ideal humidity?
