Skoal/Copenhagen sets

When I was a kid Skoal/Copenhagen did a promotion and gave away knives in exchange for saving X amount of lids from cans. My dad and his friends saved me enough so I have all of them plus a couple of the fancy collector lids. Everything is brand new in the box still. Because my dad is gone now I don’t think I’d ever part with them but how would I find a value? I can find any full sets like this online. Their in the back of my gun safe, if I remember right there are like 4 Skoal and 3 Copenhagen. It was odd to me at the time that there was one more of one brand than the other.

Welcome to AAPK.
I suggest you read through the posts in this thread:
https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... =2&t=77592
Then do an advanced search of eBay for sold listings of Skoal Knife and Copenhagen Knife to see what they’re selling for. Great to have a gift from your father to remember him by.

I have the SK#5, SK# 194, SK#36, C#5, C#194, and C#89 and these special lids. In this particular promotion we got all the knives offered. None have ever been used or carried, all in original cardboard boxes. I’m not a guy that typically believes in safe queens on my guns etc, I think it’s the fact that these were part of my Dad that I keep them like I do.
A lot of good info there. Had no idea there were so many. I doubt mine are worth much, but cool trip down memory lane.
