Case slim line trapper

I purchased this Case slim line trapper from Reverand. I had an idea to rehandle it in bone. Then I thought why not add rear bolsters to it.

So I rehandled it in blue bone and added rear bolsters. I am still learning but it turned out ok.

Nice job Nev.
Hard to tell from the pic, is that bone smooth or jigged?

Nice work Nev! Those blue scales and rear bolsters are a BIG improvement on that knife.

Not knocking your work here but must say the only problem I have with what you did is the pin placement on scales plus the rear bolster is a bit large for this knife.
Nice work.

Well I love it!
I haven't had any shop time in a few weeks, and seeing what you did with that worn old knife makes me jealous!

Great job Nev, nothing wrong with what you did to make it your own. I was reflecting back to when you first joined and how far you have come in your knife work and surpassed many others. Keep up the good work and keep the pictures coming....
PS: Where did you get the added bolsters?

Thank you David.

The bolster material was nickel silver from Jantz supply.
Mery Christmas to you and your family.
