LB8, 5UH, 55UH in Staglon; I am not aware of others in Staglon.

As close as you can get to those and the ones tongueriver mentioned is the LB2 Lil' Bear and the LB4. Both in very limited numbers. Then there are the 3rd Generation knives. But this is getting a little off track from your question. Footnotes are from the Schrade Reference Guide, found at the top of the main Schrade page. Knives in the pictures are not mine, although I do own a few of the ones mentioned. 5UH, 50UH, 55UH, LB8

The 55UH, mentioned above by tongueriver, was a special run exclusively for Wal-Mart in 2002 and sold exclusively by them. The 55UH does not appear in any Schrade catalogs.

I would be all over Staglon versions of the LB3 and LB5 if they had been made. There is the option of having a custom one done with stag or bone.

I do regret not ever getting my hands on one of the "CUSTOM MADE" LB5 and LB7. Very nice!

Jon, I saw one LB5 in staglon that I believe was ligit. I missed it on the auction site and have been looking ever since. It was an anomaly though. Was not a production knife.

I would defo want one if it came up, as for the custom shop blades I saw a Custom LB7 with the detailed sheath up for sale at an Auction in the UK but the Auction House would not post any items and as it was 200 miles away I let it go, I think it sold for around £50 which I thought was cheap to be honest.

I had one of the LB7’s custom. I regret selling it. I do have an LB5 with a Damascus blade. An old friend who worked at Schrade for many years showed me a finished LB7 with a Damascus blade and a few extra blades. The knife never went into any kind of production but it was really cool to see it. I have a couple of LB5’s with different variations. I will try and post some pics.

I have this factory stag handled LB7ES. I have seen a few online, but not many. Then there are the factory stagged 5OT-ES knives. I have several pictures of these. I'd give my left nut for the one in this picture. But I've never had a shot at one. Then I have a couple of variations of the standard LB5 that I like real well.

Nice knives. I really like the stag OT! These are the LB5’s I have in my collection. The top one has a serial number but I can’t remember why. The other variation has brass colored bolster. I try to keep only standard models in the collection but the Damascus LB5 is one of the exceptions.

Don't forget the 124UH Tradesman @ 4" closed, a great size for everyday carry.

Shown here below it's larger brother, the 127UH.

There were serialized three knife sets, LB1, LB5 and LB7, with nickel silver bolsters, nickel silver liners and wood that looks like ebony. Maybe your serialized LB5 came from one of those sets.
