Are you talking about epoxy? If that's what you're talking about, any two part epoxy should do the trick. A very thin coat on a clean surface is all you'll need.

Nope but I would recommend a trial run on a piece to be epoxied before doing the real thing.

J-B Weld has worked well for me in the past. I would recommend the clear epoxy. This is a gray color.

I'm playing with a roughrider lockback kit at the moment, but have quite a few better knives that I would like to custom, once I feel confident.

Already messed up some Ram scales by over sanding the fit ...........

Here is a thread from years ago where people actually tested various types of adhesives. The linked article is a long read, so be prepared to take a while with it.

At first I used Gorilla glue (regular and clear). These are not epoxy adhesives, but it works well. I believe that the regular Gorilla glue held the best of the two, though it will foam out of any crack.
Then I moved to using epoxy instead. I have used many brands and had no problems with any of them. Of course, I also pin the handles as well, so that will help with any adhesive.

Any good epoxy should be fine.
I started using this SystemThree Blade Pro epoxy this year and have been very happy with it. It’s got good working time and exceptional strength.

I use Locktite A326. It has a primer that you use one both surfaces and use the adhesive on one. It is a structural adhesive.
I have been told that it is what Buck uses. I have had no problems with it.

You must use primer 7649 or it will not set.
